Cotton District 5k

I ran in the Cotton Mill run today and did OK. I was not in shape but I was at least able to finish.

On my return trip I am better than before, dropping in and getting close to the coping. I can't believe that I am actually improving and loving this hobby.

Veterans Skatepark Bummer

I visited veterans skatepark because I was only 2 miles away on a field trip with my kids. I thought I would have time to skate but as the day went on I only had 15 min. I planned this day for a month in advance just to get a chance to ride the skull bowl. To my shock the bowl was unable to skate for that 15min because plumbers were working on the drain. AAAAHHHHHH! %*&^$()^&^$^":+@!!!!!!:-( I went home 150 miles away with no taste of the skull bowl. Life is hard. Concrete is harder. God must have been watching over me that day. It just wasn't meant to be.
